It was at an Eastside Italian restaurant in 1991 where the two met. They married in 1994. Eventually Robertiello found her way to Nicolino, an Italian bistro in Issaquah. While the two continued employment at various local businesses, discussions of ownership were frequent. Then in 1998 the opportunity to purchase Nicolino arose. Even though they had a lot of ideas, they didn¹t change much from Nicolino¹s successful recipe for food and hospitality. "We only added a couple of our own touches," Robertiello said. "We really wanted to keep up the tradition they already had."
